Hi, my name is Kevin.  I have been 3D modeling since I barely knew how to delete the default cube in Blender since 2012.  About a year after I started learning to model, I suddenly started having severe back pain, which limited my ability to live a normal life.  I had previously had surgery for sciatica about 5 years before this happened which worked great until the onset of my current problems.

Since then, I have been focusing more on computers, and creating hair-brained ideas that I get from time to time.  One of them, was creating a 3D printer from scratch.  At the time I built my first printer, the price for a decent printer was well over $800.  Spending about $230, waiting months for parts, and working on building the printer as much as I physically could, I eventually built a working 3D printer.  It took me about 6 months to get it built enough to test, and another 5 months upgrading parts (by printing them on it).  I got it to the point where I can hit print, and don't have to worry about leveling the bed, or if it's adhering to the bed at all.  It just works.

I did build a very large printer the year after that, while also making Youtube videos.  That printer works, but it is not set up right now.  It is too difficult for me to work with because of my back problems.  I also need to spend time and upgrade it to be working as well as my main printer.  That's for down the road a ways.

I do plan on building a 3rd printer that is similar to my first printer, but is made of all metal construction for durability and quality of prints.  I have slowly been buying parts for it, but extra money is hard to come by for me the last several years.  I have a lot of the materials to build it, I just don't have some of the tools I need to build it precisely.

In the past two year, I have found out that I also have Fibromyalgia or some other Arthritis-based Autoimmune Disease, which explains my lack of motivation and non-existent video uploads of the last two years.  It is a daily struggle to get pretty much anything done, but I do try to keep positive, and still try and learn new things everyday.  Eventually, I hope to figure out a way or ways to alleviate my symptoms to the point where I can be productive on a regular basis again, but I do not know if or when that will be.  I have tried almost everything suggested with little to no improvements.  I'm the type of person that likes to figure things out and understand how things work.  The human body is a completely different machine to learn though.  I will still try what I can, when I can.

The ability to understand, is also the willingness to listen.  Listen with all of your senses.  Be patient, and see the big picture.  Before you can see the big picture, you must visualize every interaction individually.  Whether in your mind, or in reality.  Each interaction is piece to the puzzle of understanding.
